The Monster Hunter franchise has had lots of success in Japan, so it’s no wonder Capcom wants to offer fans another MH game with a brand-new look. Capcom has announced the upcoming launch of Monster Hunter Stories for the Nintendo 3DS, a portable RPG game with a look unlike any other in the series.
The first trailer of the game shows a boy hunter and his cat-looking friend getting an egg belonging to a Tigrex who chases them, when a Rathalos comes to their rescue.
During the company’s presence at Hunter Festa, Capcom said the game will be released sometime in 2016 in Japan. There was no mention of a release for North America and Europe yet.
