The Red Bull Battle Grounds 2015 DOTA 2 Group Competition starts in Southeast Asia

In the next few hours, the Red Bull Battle Grounds 2015 DOTA 2 group competition will begin. With four teams on every one of the 5 regions (Southeast Asia, China, Europe, North America, Russia/CIS-Commonwealth of Independent States), only one per zone will move on to the playoffs on May 5th in Santa Monica, CA at the Red Bull eSports Studio.

At the playoffs, each team gets three lives and will have the opportunity to choose the team they will play against. The two best teams will go to the finals of the inaugural DOTA 2 tournament to be played on May 10th at The Warfield Theater.

The live broadcast of the first regional championship (the Southeast Asia Group Stage) will be seen on Beyond the Summit on Twitch with commentaries from experts at 4 AM Eastern / 1 AM Pacific.
