The Blizzard community may be busy today making plans for this year’s Blizzcon event. On the Battle.net web site, Blizzard Entertainment announced Blizzcon 2015 will take place once again at the Anaheim Convention Center on November 6 & 7. Fans can start purchasing tickets at $199 for the convention on Wednesday, April 15 at 7pm Pacific time and on Friday, September 18 at 10 AM Pacific time by visiting the Eventbrite page at http://www.eventbrite.com/e/blizzcon-november-6-7-2015-tickets-15752495137.
“There’s no better way to connect with the ever-expanding Blizzard community than by bringing everyone together at BlizzCon,” stated Mike Morhaime, CEO and co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment. “With more games in development than ever before, we’ll have plenty of exciting updates to share and lots of great eSports competition to look forward to—we can’t wait to see everyone there.”
Among the fun activities at the event:
- Hands-on play time with the latest versions of Blizzard Entertainment games
- Global Finals for Blizzard eSports, including the StarCraft® II World Championship Series and Hearthstone® World Championship
- In-depth discussion panels with Blizzard game developers and artists
- Community contests with great prizes
- Commemorative merchandise based on Blizzard’s game universes
- More activities and attractions to be announced
A dinner benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) on the evening of November 5th will take place where the early attendees will have the chance to eat and drink with people who work on the game. More info about the BlizzCon Benefit Dinner will be shared at a later date.
