A new update is coming to the PS4 and Sony is giving a head start to a few people. According to leaked emails, a select number of PlayStation MVPs have been chosen to beta test the upcoming system firmware (version 2.50) for the console.
This method of testing seems a lot like the one many users of Xbox One get to do to cooperate with Microsoft.
Among the new features:
- Enter rest mode without having to shut down apps and games
- Delete trophies with o% completion
- Share Play at 60 frames per second
- Accessibility features
There is no official release date yet for the PS4 firmware update 2.50.
