I’ve been smashing Smashers in Smash lately, especially on the Wii U version. It’s satisfying to see oneself battling with seven other opponents in the 8-player stages, and even more sweeter if someone like you comes out as the best in the Nintendo ring.
Just recently, Nintendo released a new update for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U allowing players to show their best talent against seven contestants in more stages.
Among the new stages included in 8-player mode:
Regular stages
- Mario Circuit (Brawl)
- Luigi’s Mansion
- Pyrosphere
- Norfair
- Lylat Cruise
- Pokémon Stadium 2
- Animal Crossing – Town and City
- Animal Crossing – Smashville
- Wii Fit Studio
Final Destination stages
- Mario Galaxy
- Mario Circuit (Brawl)
- Kirby: The Great Cave Offensive
- Lylat Cruise
- Pokémon Stadium 2
- Animal Crossing – Town and City
The update was announced first online by Nintendo Japan earlier today. Version 1.0.2 will also include slight changes to the mentioned stages when played in 8-player mode. It is now available for download for users in North America. The Smash Wii U game is more exciting now.
