Nintendo of America announced the upcoming closing of its rewards program known as Club Nintendo. For over six years, the American branch of the Japanese company has been rewarding gamers by completing surveys of products they’ve purchased. People have been getting downloadable games, posters, greeting cards, game cases, and more. The company also mentioned a new customer loyalty program is on its way, and will inform users of Club Nintendo about it in the near future.
Current members of Club Nintendo in the US and Canada can add more Coins to exchange for products on Club Nintendo until the end of March. They will be able to redeem their Coins until the end of June.
As a nice way to say adiós to Club Nintendo, the company will include many physical rewards in February. Also, the Flipnote Studio 3D app which will be available free of charge to all CN members until June 30. The last day to create a new Club Nintendo account will be on March 31.
