The technical difficulties gamers have been experiencing since the launch of Halo: The Master Chief Collection have been many. Matchmaking issues and various other bugs had not let fans fully enjoy the games, but many issues have been resolved and others are being worked.
Perhaps no one else know the troubles the game developer company is facing more than Bonnie Ross, the head of 343 Industries. “As a token of our appreciation and to thank fans for the continued support and understanding, we will be offering the following items, for free, to anyone who has played Halo: The Master Chief Collection online since launch (11.11.14) through today (12.19.14),” says Ross as a way to apologize to fans.
The items include: 1 month of Xbox Live Gold, exclusive in-game nameplate, and exclusive in-game avatar. In the near future, players can also expect Halo 2: Anniversary multiplayer map content and Halo 3: ODST on Xbox One.
In addition, development on Halo 3: ODST Campaign has begun and will be upgraded to 1080p running at 60fps for gamers who have played the Collection between launch date (11/11/2014) and today (12/19/2014). The Relic Halo 2: Anniversary Multiplayer Map will also be available for free running at 1080p and 60fps.
