Microsoft is no stranger to securing deals with game developer companies for exclusivity of game releases on their newest console, the Xbox One. So, perhaps a new deal with Square Enix’s Crystal Dynamics shouldn’t be seen as a new way for Microsoft to attract lots of consumers to its entertainment device.
In a Twitter post, Aaron Greenberg mentioned Microsoft will be publishing the upcoming Tomb Raider game: “Yes we are publishing Rise of the Tomb Raider.”
Though the launch of Rise of the Tomb Raider would be a timed-exclusive, having it on a specific console for first release has its advantages. The game will make its debut on Holiday 2015.
