Bandai Namco: Trunk to be available via pre-registration for “Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle”

While the franchise is very popular in gaming consoles, the same success has not been seen in smartphones yet, but that can change for gamers in Japan, North America, Europe, and other parts of Asia in the winter.

Today, on the same day of the 30th anniversary of the publication of the first Dragon Ball chapter on Weekly Shonen Jump in Japan, Bandai Namco Games posted a new trailer of the upcoming smartphone game titled Dragon Ball Z: Dokkan Battle. Players will brawl against various fighters in stages that may bring back memories of the SNES days. People who pre-register will get Trunk as a playable character.

This will be the first mobile DBZ game to be released outside of Japan.
