Gamershave seen changes made to consoles throughout the years. Newer models of consoles with cheaper parts brings savings to makers. Still, in newer consoles such as Wii U, Xbox One and PS4, we have not seen a meaningful, new model, but we may see one soon. According to a profile on LinkedIn, the Redmond, WA, company and chip maker AMD have already developed “a smaller, more cost-effective 20mm version of the main processor found in Xbox One.” Unlike the 28mm chip in the current model of the Xbox One, the 20mm does bring 30% higher speed that can save 25 cents less power. Unfortunately, the profile account where the information is found is currently unavailable.
