Vine, the online service that allows people to share six-second looping videos, is now available as an app for the Xbox One.
According to a post on Xbox Wire, the Xbox One version has been specifically made for TV, bringing users a great selection of short, fun videos. Unfortunately, all the Vine videos you see on the service will not be available via this app, and users would have to rely on their mobile devices or PCs to watch more.
The app will take advantage of the console’s best features such as Kinect voice and gesture control to stop or play videos, to look for videos, or to browse through specific featured channels like Art, Music & Dance, Comedy and others. Also, users can also snap the app right next to games or other apps.
