A new Street Fighter puzzle RPG game is coming to Android and iOS devices

The Street Fighter franchise is coming to mobile devices once again, this game as a fighting game with puzzle RPG elements. Some players may remember Super Puzzle Fighter II, but Street Fighter: Puzzle Spirits looks less than its close relative Super Puzzle Fighter II and more like titles such as Puzzle Quest and Puzzle & Dragons.

In the trailer of Street Fighter: Puzzle Spirits, you’ll see players matching gems being used in order to execute powerful attacks from well-known fighter such as Chun-Li, Ryu, Cammy, Ibuki and Juri.

The game will see a Japanese release date this winter, but no word yet about the game’s launch outside of Japan.
