A month ago, Windows Phone users had no choice but to play Minecraft on the Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Android and iOS devices, but things can change quickly and in their favor as well.
After almost a month since Microsoft purchased Mojang (developer of popular sandbox game Minecraft), fans of the franchise will be able to finally play Minecraft: Pocket Edition for Windows Phone, according to Jens Bergensten, the game’s lead developer.
The port of the game works, but there is still lots of work to do. Though no release date has been mentioned, Windows Phone users at least now know it’s on its way.
Yes, Minecraft: Pocket Edition *is* coming to the Windows Phone! The port runs already, but there's still much to do before any release
