The Japanese launch of the New Nintendo 3DS is almost two weeks away, and Nintendo counts on J-pop singer Kyary Pamyu Pamyu to offer the portable device to the masses. At the company’s website, Nintendo shows the regular model of the New Nintendo 3DS featuring the “Kisekae Plates” (“dress-up plates”), while the video features everyone at the Mushroom Kingdom and friends like Pikachu, Zelda, Link, Samus, Donkey Kong, Villager and others in cool costumes. The plates will be available along with the regular-size New Nintendo 3DS on October 3rd in Japan.
The New Nintendo 3DS will offer new features not available on the Nintendo 3DS such as additional buttons for gameplay, a faster processor, better 3D viewing, NFC support, and titles specifically made for it.
