It is not hard to guess what one thing invited members of the media will get to see on September 9. With the message “Wish we could say more,” Apple is setting up the media and its followers for what seems it could be a big surprise.
Though the competition keeps getting harder for Apple with the arrival earlier this year of the Android-based Samsung Galaxy S5 and the LG G3 smartphones, many people expect Apple to announce finally the arrival of its latest smartphone, the iPhone 6.
If Apple continues with last year’s introduction, we could expect two new models, and perhaps the announcement of new tablet to compete with the Galaxy Note 4 phablet.
Opinión: Apple will remain hush until September 9 about the new features and services, but I hope the newer iPhone and other Apple devices make use of Sprint Spark, Sprint’s tri-band LTE network, which currently offers speeds of 50 to 60 Mbps and works with a small number of smartphones. That could make other mobile networks try to equal or surpass Sprint and perhaps offer more gigabytes at 4G speed at a lower price for people to use.
