Three new Mega Evolutions revealed for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire

A new trailer streamed today by The Pokémon Company reveals the presence of 3 new powerful Mega-Evolved pocket monsters coming to Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, along with a few more surprises.

Besides the revelation of the newest pocket monsters (Mega Altaria, Mega Salamence and Mega Lopunny) in the upcoming titles, TPC announced:

• Horde Encounters – Battles against multiple Pokémon at once -first seen in X & Y- as well as battling 5 trainers at once.

• Talent Round – Where Pokémon use their skills to “show off their appeal.” Players will select a combination of moves that closely matches the contest type to get the most attention from the audience.

• Cosplay Pikachu – Players will be able to cosplay only the one Pikachu they receive at the Contest Hall.

• In-game distribution of Shiny Beldum – This Pokémon can later become Shiny Metang and Shiny Metagross. Distribution begins on November 21, the release date of both titles. The Mega Stone is required for Shiny Metagross’s Mega Evolution.
