EA: A classic space combat simulation game, Wing Commander III, now free on Origin

For gamers to want to add another title to their Windows and/or Mac collection, there is now another game “On the House” from Electronic Arts.

Wing Commander 3: Heart of the Tiger is now available for free, instead of the regular price of US$4.99, on the company’s Origin gaming distribution service (which also happens to share its name with the developer of the game, Origin Systems).

The game, initially released in 1994, for MS-DOS and Macintosh, and later on the 3DO (1995) and the PlayStation 1 (1996), received very good reviews from Computer Gaming World and PC Gamer.
