Disney announces release date for “Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition)”

After yesterday’s announcement of the Guardians of the Galaxy characters coming to the second edition of Marvel Super Heroes, Disney announced today the game will make its way to stores on September 23.

Along with the release date, Disney Interactive said interested players who pre-order the title will get a Marvel figure (valued at $13.99) at top retailers across the country. Attendees at the San Diego Comic-Con can also try out and pre-order the game at the Disney Infinity Pop-up Shop and at the Marvel booth (#2329).

This exciting news would make fans mark their calendars.
