EA: Dempsey joins Messi on North American cover of FIFA 15

Clint Dempsey, one of the greatest soccer players from the US Men’s Team, wil be joining FC Barcelona’s Lionel Messi in the North American cover of FIFA 15, according to an announcement released by Electronic Arts today.

As the first US soccer player to score three goals in three consecutive FIFA World Cup games, Dempsey will be wearing the jersey of the US Men’s Team for the PS3 and PS4 covers. As for the Xbox covers, the soccer player will be wearing an exclusive MLS’ Seattle Sounders FC kit featuring the Xbox logo.

Stuart Lang, VP of North American marketing at EA, said: “He (Dempsey) is the perfect ambassador for FIFA 15, a game that’s all about bringing the emotion and intensity of the sport to life.”
