A day after FIFA, soccer’s international governing body, suspended Uruguayan striker Luis Suárez due to sportsmanlike behavior in the field by biting Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini, it didn’t take long to bring a small South American game studio to turn the situation into a Flash game. The people at Peruvian game developer LEAP Game Studios (@leapgamestudios / http://leapgs.com/) posted a Flash game called La Mordida (The Bite) today.
In La Mordida, the game’s goal, as you may expect, is to bite the Italian defender (by holding the space bar on your keyboard) without the referee seeing you, as Suarez, committing your doing for as long as possible. If the referee sees you, the game’s over, just like Suarez’s soccer activities for the next four months, except you won’t be having a real hard time like him now.
