For today’s kids, technology means graphically-advanced game consoles, laptops, iOS and Android smartphones, and Windows-based PCs, but it just wasn’t like that in the 70s and early 80s. Using an Apple II, a computer with no user interface, is hard to use for people with no knowledge of commands to make it useful. Imagine today’s kids using it.
From turning on an Apple II to inserting a floppy disk (instead of a USB flash drive), the kids in this video had to learn a few yet important things to operate this Apple computer, thanks to TheFineBros and “Halt & Catch Fire,” a show to premiere on June 1st on AMC. Watch and enjoy this fun and educational video. The reactions of these kids about old computers (such as this Apple II) are so epic.
