Mario Kart 8 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday

It is the week before the release of Mario Kart 8, one of the most-expected titles on the Wii U console. As a franchise with a large following, it is great to see how Nintendo and NASCAR team up to bring Mario Kart 8 to the Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 24. That’s tomorrow, Saturday.

NASCAR driver Matt Kenseth will be driving the car number 20, sponsored by GameStop.

People who attend the Nationwide Series History 300 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway will have the opportunity to try out the actual game and have pictures taken with Mario and Luigi, among other game-related activities.

Mario Kart 8 goes on sale on May 30th.
