Aniplex to stream Sword Art Online II worldwide

During Sakura-Con in Seattle yesterday, the Aniplex of America’s Sword Art Online panel announced that the anime series’ second season, titled Sword Art Online II, will be simulcasted worldwide as it airs in Japan, starting July of 2014.

The company mentioned the Premiere Screening events of SAO II will be held in the U.S., France, Germany, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea and Japan. More detailes about the events will be announced later.

Aniplex also revealed an interactive event, Sword Art Online Awards, in which fans of the series will be able to vote, starting today, for their favorite episode, character, battle, costume design and more.
