Flappy Bird has been one of the most popular mobile apps, so much so that it has been downloaded over 50 million times. Nguyen mentioned he’s been earning $50,000 a day since the app got the attention of lots of people. The game features a small bird that must fly without hitting the pipes. Players must tap the screen to avoid the obstacles. The game’s over when a bird hits a pipe. Flappy Bird was first released in May 2013 for iOS, and months later on Android.
Q: Will the game creator remove the game to make changes to it in a future version? Some game elements are very similar to the ones in Super Mario Bros 3 though he said the removal is not due to legal issues.
