[Update]: Access to the Nintendo eShop has returned.
If you’ve been trying to get connected to the Nintendo eShop with your 3DS recently, you should have received a notice that the service is down again. Nintendo announced via Twitter a few hours ago its eShop service would be unavailable again today starting at 4pm. The Nintendo eShop was back to normal at 4 AM EST today and had been working well since; even a preview of the Pokémon Bank was available on the 3DS’ eShop. The Nintendo Europe post on Twitter indicates this network problem affects 3DS owners and that the service will not be available again for 12 hours. I hope the service come backs in top shape.
eShop update: We’re making progress in restoring our global network. The Nintendo eShop will be available in North America until 4 p.m. ET.
