The Pokémon X/Y series of titles brought lots of excitement, battles, exploration, and especially lots of fun. X/Y have become a hit, so it was a matter of time to see each game in a different bundle. Earlier today, Nintendo announced its Nintendo 2DS (not the 3DS one) is coming with Pokémon X or Y, depending on where you buy it.
Starting December 6th, Target will be selling a red Nintendo 2DS with Pokémon X pre-installed, while Toys ‘R Us will be offering a blue Nintendo 2DS with Pokémon Y pre-installed. Both bundles will cost $149.99 each.
Just a reminder that the 2DS is basically the same as the 3DS one (with features such as Street Pass, Nintendo eShop , Nintendo Video, and more), except it doesn’t offer the stereoscopic 3D capability nor does it fold in half. This budget version of the portable device is mainly for use by kids, but anyone can use it to play games.
The limited packages are available until supplies last.
