Nintendo Direct – 2013.Nov.13 – Games, Trailer and Updates for 3DS and Wii U

[EN]: If you missed this morning’s Nintendo Direct, there were lots of interesting news. Here’s a brief review of today’s announcement, along with cool trailers.

Nintendo 3DS

* The December system update for thr Nintendo 3DS will allow users to get a Nintendo Network ID. It would let gamers use the same account as in the Wii U console to buy 3DS, Wii U games and additional content from either console.

* Owners of the portable game system will be able have access to Miiverse, with the console’s December system update, until now exclusive to Wii U.

* YouTube is finally coming to the 3DS.

* The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds: Introducing Airin and her magic broom, Zeres (trapped in a painting), Gramps.

* Bravely Default: Collector’s Edition to include game, music CD, 34 augmented reality cards, artbook. Launch: Feb. 7.
Adventure Trailer

* The first Kirby 3DS game now has a name: Kirby: Triple Deluxe.

* Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy: Launch: Feb. 28, 2014.

* Mario Party: Island Tour:  With seven new boards and 80 minigames. Up to four players can play at the same time with just a single copy of the game. Other players would need to download the Download Play app. Bowser’s Tower: a single-player game with 30 minigames and one boss battle every five floors. $39.99.

* Exclusive SpotPass content via Nintendo Zone: Receive data from last six Nintendo Zone visitors.
An Animal Crossing: New Leaf raccoon wall clock is available until Nov. 14.
An Animal Crossing: New Leaf cat tower available Nov. 15-28.
An Animal Crossing: New Leaf rolling suitcase available Nov. 29-Dec. 12.
A Super Mario 3D Land Mystery Box starting Nov. 22.

Wii U

* Pikmin 3: The 3rd round of new levels for the Missions mode playable with Olimar will be available on Dec. 2nd for $4.99. System update required to play this content.

* Super Mario 3D World: Being able to play with Rosalina from Super Mario Galaxy; an extra game called Luigi Bros (easily accessible for players with saved games of New Super Luigi U); levels with Cptn. Toad.

* YouTube App Update: With next console system update, the app will let you search for videos on the GamePad while watching video on TV.
