[EN]: One of Namco Bandai’s fighting game franchises will finally return. Titled Soulcalibur II HD Online, the game will appear on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 due this fall. Besides the online feature, the multiple original modes will be available on the HD version. In the original release, every console version had an exclusive character: Spawn (Xbox), Heihachi Mishima (PS2), and Link (Gamecube). During Comic-Con, it was announced that Masaaki Hoshino will be the producer of the Soulcalibur franchise from now on. The trailer features many characters including Heihachi. Will there be a Wii U version? No such version was mentioned today at the San Diego Comic-Con, but fans would miss playing as Link. Let’s hope SC2 HD Online gets to be announced eventually for the Wii U.
