Nintendo 3DS XL: Pikachu Edition – Release Date

[EN]: This is the 3DS model I’ve waiting for ever since I found out it. Yes, it’s an XL model which means it has a bigger display monitor than in the original one. It’s also yellow, just like the most famous Pokémon around, Pikachu. Fans of the Pocket Monster franchise will be extremely happy to know the Pikachu Edition of the Nintendo 3DS XL is on its way and will be available on March 24 (US), the same day as the titles Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity and  Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon. The portable gaming system will come with a 4GB SD memory card and supply is limited. It will cost $199.99.

As an incentive, if gamers register their new 3DS XL system with either Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity or Luigi’s Mansion: Dark Moon between March 21 and April 30, they will receive one code to download one of five selected titles for free: Super Mario 3D Land, Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask, Art Academy: Lessons for Everyone!, Star Fox 64 3D or Freakyforms Deluxe: Your Creations, Alive!
