Square Enix: “Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII” [PS3/X360]

[EN]: A few hours ago, Square Enix finally announced a first for the franchise, a third chapter for a Final Fantasy game. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII (aka FF XIII-3 to us gamers) will make its appearance sometime next year on the PS3 and Xbox 360. The company did provide the media with a logo, some pictures, and four videos on YouTube with English translation of their presentation. SE also has a new Facebook page about this game (link not included in the US press release) and other links for you to see. Take a look at the images and videos… now!

[ES]: Hace unas pocas horas, Square Enix anunció algo por primera vez para la franquicia, un tercer capítulo para un juego Final Fantasy.  Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII (también conocido para nosotros creo como FF XIII-3) hará su aparición el próximo año en el PS3 y Xbox 360. La compañía sí proporcionó a los medios de comunicación con un logotipo, algunas fotos, y cuatro videos en YouTube con traducción al inglés de su presentación. SQUARE ENIX REVEALS EPIC CONCLUSION TO LIGHTNING’S SAGA

LIGHTNING RETURNS: FINAL FANTASY XIII Coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation®3 system in 2013

LOS ANGELES (Aug. 31, 2012) – Square Enix, Inc., the publisher of SQUARE ENIX® interactive entertainment products in the Americas, today unveiled the final chapter to Lightning’s saga at a fan-filled 25th anniversary event of the FINAL FANTASY® franchise. LIGHTNING RETURNS: FINAL FANTASY XIII, due out next year, incorporates a brand-new story, world, characters and an enhanced gameplay system.

The FINAL FANTASY XIII franchise has now shipped more than 9.6 million units worldwide. Production is underway, and the game will feature Lightning as a playable character and will allow players to experience an active and expansive environment like never before.
