[EN]: Did you know Square Enix is bringing PC games to a browser near you? SE has launched its CoreOnline service, and today it added one new game to its service. Hitman: Blood Money, the 2006 game released by IO Interactive, is now available. The titles in CoreOnline are free-to-play, but you have to earn game time by watching advertisements. Think Hulu on your PC but for gaming (free; with ads), or think Gaikai. Here on CoreOnline, you can choose which commercials to watch, and different commercials give you different amount of minutes.
Watch the trailer of the CoreOnline service and of one of its games, Hitman: Blood Money, being played on a PC. I recommend you to try it. I like it.

Square Enix: “Hitman: Blood Money” [CoreOnline]
[EN – Press Release]
LONDON (29th August 2012) – Square Enix Ltd., the publishers of SQUARE ENIX® interactive entertainment products in Europe and across PAL territories, has today announced that Hitman: Blood Money® is the latest title to launch on CORE®ONLINE – the service that offers high definition games in your browser, for free.
The hugely popular installment in IO Interactive’s original assassin franchise sees Agent 47™ head to the US for the first time. While there he takes on a variety of new contracts… and makes a killing.
Hitman: Blood Money, which was originally released in the Summer of 2006 for PC and consoles, is the second game to launch on CORE®ONLINE, and now sits alongside platform adventure title Mini Ninjas® – while Lara Croft: Guardian of Light® will also be added soon.
The CORE®ONLINE service has been updated to offer users the chance to play through entire games for free, in exchange for watching video advertisements. Users will be able to earn game time by choosing from a choice of ads, and this game time can be passed on from one play session to the next. Alternatively, it will be possible to skip ads by buying individual levels or complete games.
“We’re delighted to be adding Hitman: Blood Money to the CORE®ONLINE service,” said David Guldbrandsen, Studio Manager CORE®ONLINE. “Since we first launched CORE®ONLINE we’ve been working hard on getting the right level of choice for gamers to experience high definition games in the browser environment.”
“Together with those titles already announced – and there are lots more to come – we’re really looking forward to seeing the service grow.”
CORE®ONLINE will work on most modern connected Windows PCs using an updated major browser. More information is available on the official website: http://coreonline.com.
