Guild Wars 2 named Eurogamer Expo 2011 Editors’ Game of the Show
Brighton, England, 26th September 2011: Eurogamer Network, Europe’s leading independent games media specialist, is delighted to announce that Guild Wars 2 has been named Editors’ Game of the Show at Eurogamer Expo 2011.
Developed by ArenaNet and published by NCsoft, Guild Wars 2 is an epic massively multiplayer online RPG and follow-up to the immensely successful original Guild Wars title.
The Editors’ Game of the Show award was voted for by Eurogamer.net editorial staff. There were 10 nominees, all of which were playable by over 30,000 attendees over four days at Earls Court during Eurogamer Expo 2011.
“It was almost impossible to choose between some of this year’s nominees, but Guild Wars 2 eventually won us over with its incredible depth and intelligent new approach to MMO design,” said Tom Bramwell, Eurogamer Network Operations director.
