April 20th Announced as Full Sail University Day in Winter Park, FL
WINTER PARK, FL, April 28, 2009 – On April 20, 2009, Full Sail University (www.fullsail.edu) held its 30th anniversary and Hall of Fame celebration, where the new Mayor of Winter Park, Ken Bradley, announced April 20th as Full Sail University Day in Winter Park, FL.
Mayor Bradley was at the Full Sail University Hall of Fame induction ceremony to make the announcement to more than a thousand people, including Full Sail students, graduates, and staff, as well as local and national VIPs and special guests.
Full Sail University has been an educational leader in the entertainment industry for the past 30 years and a part of the Winter Park community for nearly 20 years. Full Sail celebrated its 30th anniversary by inducting its inaugural six graduates into the Hall of Fame, unveiling a 60-foot multimedia wall and memorabilia, and held a special concert performance by 2009 GRAMMY award-winning artist, Anthony Hamilton and 2008 Florida GRAMMY Showcase winner, the Jacob Jeffries Band.
