According to MSNBC and CNN, Stephen Hawking, famous mathematician and Lucasian Professor of Mathematics at Cambridge University (a position once held by physicist Isaac Newton), has been taken to Addenbrookes Hospital, located north of London. Currently, he is in a very ill condition and has been battling a chest infection.
