The unthinkable has just happened. Ashton got a million followers before CNN did. As a Florida resident myself, this occasion reminded me of previous presidential elections here. The election results were too close to call, but Ashton was able to triumph at the end of the race. CNN had regained its lead once after Ashton had caught up with the news network just a few hours ago. Even miscalculations à la Florida election-style were seen. In a few, weird occasions, Ashton had close to two million followers compared to CNN Breaking News. The amount was twice the actual one. No one really is even close to getting 2 millions followers yet. The numbers were corrected almost immediately. At 2:14am EST, Ashton reached the first million of followers. It will not take that long for CNN to get to that number of followers.
