Konami’s Kojima Productions has something new to make us think hard it seems. Konami’s new Metal Gear Solid web site shows a new Flash with symbols that can make anyone think about in differernt ways. The first one could be an inverse exclamation mark “¡” used in Spanish (¡Hola Snake!) or a reference to the letter “i” on the Wii or DSi (could it be that Konami wants to bring Metal Gear Solid to a console that many gamers own?). At Konami’s Hideo Blog this past Thursday (12/04/08) , Kojima talked about the Mountain Trail in South America (in MSG4), but it would take us nowhere for more clues I guess. Of course, we know the usual exclamation mark from previous games with Solid Snake. Could it mean an MGS visit to the Wii? The third one looks like the symbol on the Xbox 360 and many other products like in my Samsung monitor. MSG4 for the 360? That may be a possibility. The only difference is the green dot. Also, The URL sub-directory is called MGST [https://www.konami.jp/kojima_pro/mgst/?ref=kjp_eng]. What could that “T” mean? Twin Snakes for the Wii? But, it can also be a game for… the iPhone? If “T” equals Touch, then it will most likely be one for it. Or, it can be a “Trilogy” coming for the 360. Whatever it comes out to be, I hope it’s going to be something worthwhile. Plus, have you noticed you can change the speed of the Flash file (the amount of time it takes for the Konami logo to disppear before seeing the mystery message with those symbols)? Just change the values to whatever number you want on [https://www.konami.jp/kojima_pro/mgst/images/mark.swf?ci=1500&mt=10000&bk=500]. P.S. Even the info on the meta description doesn’t help. We only get to see these “???” (three question marks).

El nuevo sitio web de Metal Gear Solid demuestra un nuevo Flash con símbolos que le pueden hacer pensar a uno de varias maneras.
