While I was checking out my friends, collegues and relatives’s profiles at Facebook, I stumbled upon an application called Nations. I saw a message on a profile stating the following: El Presidente <!–name–> resolved an issue in the Republic of <!– whatever name you choose for your country –>. I decided to check this out. Once I got to that page, I noticed this app game lets people create a nation of their own at [https://www.new.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2233746928#/apps/application.php?id=7219203953&b=&ref=pd_r_a]. You can be a president or even a dictator. You can establish your own laws and control your country financially and politically the way you want, but your actions can affect whatever you decide. After trying this out for a while, I thought about two things: “Maybe the current president should give this a try” and “Chavez will definitively fail at this.” So far in this simulation game, I’ve seen fun names like “Galactic Democracy of …” and “Imperialistic Country of … ,” among others. You do get some tasks to do per day. It may not take you lots of time to play it. You can have allies from other nations as well as enemies. Can yo do it? Show your skills at Nations.
