The price of Google’s new mobile phone has recently been revealed. The phone, based on Google’s Android mobile OS, will cost $199, according to the Wall Street Journal. It seems like $199 has become the new standard price for advanced smartphones. One of the new iPhone models, the 8GB one, has the same price, while Palm-based entry-level smartphones cost about $99 and up. T-Mobile plans to unveil the new mobile phone at an event in New York on Sept. 23.
