Square Enix offers @ Xbox Live

[EN]: Square Enix announced today its greatest Xbox Live games and DLC offer yet. Starting today, all members of Xbox Live can buy the downloadable versions of 14 Square Enix games up to 75% off and 32 DLCs at 50% off. The sale ends on March 19th, so you still have a week to take advantage of this offer if you missed any of the mentioned titles or downloadable content. Here is the list of the games currently on sale:

R2 Studios: acquired by Microsoft | acquirido por Microsoft

[EN]: Apple and Google were interested in R2 Studios, a home entertainment tech startup company, but none of them were as successful as the big M in acquiring it. According to the Wall Street Journal some hours ago, this acquisition will help Microsoft with future plans for its Xbox division. The article says this purchase can help MS in offering even more TV entertainment via its gaming console. Microsoft has not shared yet any comments about its acquisition.

[ES]:Apple y Google estaban interesados en R2 Studios, una empresa de inicio tecnológica de entretenimiento para el hogar, pero ninguno de ellos fue tan exitosa como la gran M en adquirirla. De acuerdo con el Wall Street Journal, esta adquisición ayudará a Microsoft con planes futuros para su división Xbox. El artículo dice que esta compra puede ayudar a MS en ofrecer mucho más entretenimiento televisivo a través de su consola de juegos. Microsoft aún no ha compartido ningun comentario acerca de su adquisición.

Polytron: “Fez” to appear in other platforms | “Fez” aparecerá en otras plataformas

[EN]: The year 2012 is about to end, but that doesn’t mean there are no news today. Polytron’s puzzle/adventure game, Fez, released on Xbox Live in April, will make its presence in other platforms, according to today’s post on its site. It is indeed great news for the ones who have yet to play this game that has won awards in game art.

[ES]: El año 2012 está a punto de terminar, pero eso no significa que no hay noticias hoy. El juego de puzzle/aventura de Polytron, Fez, lanzado en Xbox Live en abril, hará su presencia en otras plataformas, de acuerdo con la entrada de hoy en su sitio web. [EN]: It seems like the first DLC for Black Ops II will be arriving on January 29th and also “first on Xbox Live.” Three images show parts of a promo material for Black Ops II Revolution.

The first one shows small pics of soldiers in five stages (Hydro, Downhill, Grind, Mirage, and Die Rise). It also mentions a bonus Peacekeeper SMG.

The second (top right) image shows “29th” with “First on Xbox Live” with a smaller font size, while the last one shows the top left part of image with “January” on it.

[ES]: Parece que el primer DLC para Black Ops II llegará el 29 de enero y también “primera en Xbox Live”. Tres imágenes muestran partes de un material promocional de Black Ops II Revolution.

La primera muestra las fotografías pequeñas de soldados en cinco etapas (Hydro, Downhill, Grind, Mirage, y Die Rise). También se menciona una arma bono Peacekeeper SMG.

Majesco / WayForward: “Double Dragon Neon” – Gameplay & Screenshots

[EN]: I remember how much fun  it was to play the original game in the arcade, as well as playing the NES version. In the arcade, it was one of those that made you get more quarters in order to continue playing it till the end. The NES version wasn’t completely the same, but it was the first one to make it home.

Well, after many years, the Double Dragon franchise is coming back again, in just a few days, but Majesco shared this trailer with the media. I want to play this game already. Oh, memories.

[ES]: Recuerdo lo divertido que era jugar el juego original en el arcade, y tambié jugar la versión NES. En el arcade, fue uno de esos que que hacía conseguirte más quarters para continuar jugando hasta el final. La versión NES obviamente no era completamente la misma, pero fue la primera que llego a casa.

Bueno, después de varios años, la franquicia Double Dragon vuelve de nuevo en unos pocos días, pero Majesco compartió este avance con la prensa. Ya quiero jugar este juego. Oh, recuerdos.

[ES]: E3 2012 ya está cerca, y una de las grandes empresas de videojuegos ha compartido su lista de juegos que todo jugador en E3 2012 logrará probar. Durante la expo, los ‘gamers’ podrán jugar demostraciones de diversos juegos tales como Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance], Sleeping Dogs, American Mensa Academy, Final Fantasy Dimensions y muchos más para distintas plataformas. “De los mundos de fantasía llenos de algunos de los personajes más reconocibles de la industria a contenido innovador y original, la línea de Square Enix en el E3 de este año es uno de los más fuertes en la industria”, mencionó el presidente y jefe ejecutivo de Square Enix, Inc.
