[EN]: IO Interactive released today the new iOS and Android app based on Hitman. The Hitman: ICA app will work with your activities on Hitman: Absolution.

The app will let you:

• VIEW, BUY AND UPGRADE weapons, purchase disguises and assess techniques from Hitman: Absolution – changes made will synchronize directly with the game.
• PLAN YOUR GAME ON THE GO – find custom made Contracts and push them to the Hitman: Absolution game.
• FOLLOW YOUR ACHIEVEMENTS from Hitman: Absolution and onwards to build up your contract killer career.
• MANAGE YOUR ASSASSIN NETWORK and follow up on the network of contract killers from anywhere in the Hitman franchise. The International Contract Agency has crucial global and local statistics, info, and analysis on every known assassination.
• GET ACCESS TO THE EXTENSIVE ICA DATABASE for helpful info on locations, targets etc. Learn about the Hitman legacy and follow the footsteps of Agent 47. Get insights to the secret ICA files with guides, tips and tricks on how to deal with targets.
• RECEIVE VALUABLE INFORMATION and get the latest updates about local and global performances and monitor your own.
• GET THE LATEST NEWS from The International Contract Agency community site and Hitman YouTube channel.

[ES]: IO Interactivex lanzó hoy la nueva aplicación iOS y Android basada en Hitman. The aplicación Hitman : ICA funcionará con tus actividades en Hitman: Absolution.

La aplicación les permitirá:

• Ver, comprar y mejorar armas, comprar disfraces y evaluar las técnicas de Hitman: Absolution – los cambios se sincronizan directamente con el juego.

Twitter to discontinue current versions of TweetDeck for AIR, iOS & Android | Twitter descontinuará versiones actuales de TweetDeck para AIR, iOS y Android

[EN]: I still use TweetDeck. When there is a service I find very useful especially for social media, I wish I could have it out of a browser, so that even if the browser crashes, I can still use it. But Twitter is about to make it harder for not just for desktops users but also for iPhone and Android ones who use TweetDeck, the one app it bought in 2011.

Twitter has said it will discontinue many versions of the TweetDeck apps starting in early May, instead opting for the web version and Chrome apps. The apps that are to be discontinued starting this month depend on Twitter’s API (application programming interface) version 1.0. Newer desktop software will not be affected, but developers are still waiting for the API update.

There will still be desktop versions, it seems, according to this statement on its blog post: “We think these web and Chrome apps provide the best TweetDeck experience yet, and that they are the apps in which you’ll want to see us add new capabilities first, followed closely by our Mac and PC apps.”

[ES]: Todavía uso TweetDeck. Cuando hay un servicio que me parece muy útil sobre todo para los medios de comunicación sociales, me gustaría poder tenerlo fuera del navegador (como con una aplicación móvil o un  software PC), de modo que incluso si el navegador falla, todavía puedo utilizarlo. Pero Twitter está a punto de hacer más difícil para no sólo para los usuarios de escritorio, sino también para los de iPhone y Android que usan TweetDeck, la aplicación que compró en 2011.

Twitter ha dicho que dejará muchas versiones de las aplicaciones de TweetDeck a partir de principios de mayo, en lugar de optar por la versión web y aplicaciones de Chrome. Las aplicaciones que se van a suspender a partir de este mes dependen de la API (interfaz de programación de aplicaciones) de Twitter versión 1.0. Entrada más reciente software de escritorio no se verá afectada, pero los desarrolladores están a la espera de la actualización de la API.

iOS 6.1: Updade available now | Actualización disponible ahora

iOS 6.1 Update

[EN]: Apple has just released the newest software update, version 6.1, for iOS devices. The press release says the update: adds LTE support for more carriers (36 for the iPhone and 23 for the iPad), lets users purchase movie tickets via Fandango (USA only), allows people to download single songs from iCloud, and adds a new button to reset the Advertising Identifier. On the iPad, the file size of the update is 90.3 MB, but it still needs 1GB of storage to make the update.

[ES]: Apple recien ha publicado la actualización software más reciente, versión 6.1, para dispositivos iOS. El comunicado de prensa dice que la actualización: añade compatibilidad LTE para más operadores (36 para el iPhone y 23 para el iPad), permite a los usuarios de entradas de cine compra a través de Fandango (sólo en EE.UU.), permite a los usuarios que descarguen canciones sueltas desde iCloud, y añade un botón de nuevo para restablecer el identificador de publicidad. En los iPad, el tamaño del archivo de la actualización es de 90,3 MB, pero aún necesita 1 GB de almacenamiento para realizar la actualización.

One Spear/Hiptic Games: “ShaqDown” [iOS/Android] – Debut Trailer

[EN]: Shaq is back as a gaming character, this time on iOS and Android devices. Some of you may remember Shaq’s first adventure during the SNES/Genesis generation in a game called Shaq Fu. Though that 1994 game did not get good reviews, it is never too late for Shaq to try again to return to gaming. Will this new game be better than the first one? We won’t know until January 8th, but you can see this first trailer.

[ES]: Shaq vuelve como personaje de juegos, esta vez para los dispositivos iOS y Android. Algunos de ustedes pueden recordar la primera aventura de Shaq durante la generación SNES/Genesis en un juego llamado Shaq Fu. A pesar de que el juego de 1994 no obtuvo buenas críticas, nunca es demasiado tarde para que Shaq intente de nuevo para volver a los juegos. ¿Será este nuevo juego mejor que el primero? No lo sabremos hasta el 8 de enero, pero sí pueden ver este primer avance.

Rovio: “Angry Birds Star Wars” – ‘Luke & Leia’ First Gameplay

[EN]: As we get closer to the release of Angry Birds Star Wars, Rovio released a gameplay trailer of the game showing new ways to play from Luke and Leia. The game will make its debut on November 8.

Bad Robot Interactive: “Action Movie FX” [iOS] – ‘Black Ops 2′ Update

[EN]: One of my favorite apps is only available on iOS devices. You can have lots of fun with it when you play around with family and friends, especially if you are into amateur filming. Today though, Bad Robot Interactive added new scenes into its gallery. Which ones? If you are a hardcore gamer, you should be happy. The Hellstorm Missile and EMP special effects from Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 are free for you to download and try now. The Claw one will not be available until October 29th. You would need to watch the Black Ops 2 live action trailer to unlock it. To get the Dragonfire Drones special FX, you just need to let the app share a message on your behalf on Facebook or Twitter.

I recommend you to go to the Apple App Store and get it.

[ES]: Una de mis aplicaciones favoritas sólo está disponible en dispositivos iOS. Puedes tener un montón de diversión con ella cuando se juega con la familia y amigos, especialmente si eres un novato de la filmación. Hoy, sin embargo, Bad Robot Interactive añadido nuevas escenas en su galería. ¿Cuáles? Si eres un jugador ‘hardcore’, deberías estar feliz. Rovio: “Angry Birds: Star Wars”

[EN]: A trip to the final frontier wasn’t enough for some angry birds to go back to Earth it seems. This time, they will all be going to an alternate universe, one so well-known worldwide that it just makes you think how they are going to use Lightsabers. Yeah, Angry Birds: Star Wars is coming on November 8 for Android, iOS, Kindle Fire, Windows Phone 8, Windows 8, PCs, Mac.  According to Peter Vesterbacka, chief marketing officer at Rovio, the upcoming game is ”the best parts of Angry Birds with all new cutting-edge gameplay set in a galaxy far, far away.” Related products (Halloween costumes, plush toys, action figures, etc.) will be arriving to stores before the game’s launch, on October 28.

[ES]: Un viaje a la frontera final no fue suficiente para que unos pájaros furiosos regresasen a la Tierra por lo que parece. Esta vez, ellos irán a un universo alternativo, un tan bien conocido en todo el mundo que te hace pensar cómo van a usar los Lightsabers (sables de luz).
