It’s just a few weeks before the FIFA World Cup starts in Brazil, and EA Sports finally delivers a PC game all soccer/fútbol fans would love to play, and for free. Earlier today, Electronic Arts announced the availability of the global open beta version of EA Sports FIFA World.
The game, developed by EA Canada and with content in nine languages, offers an easy-to-play gameplay mechanic from the start, over 16,000 players from 600 soccer teams, and online and single-player modes. It also includes Seasons (10 divisions for players to compete on for promotion), Accomplishments (completion of certain tasks as in real soccer games), Tournaments (play against computer-controlled teams to earn rewards), and Match Inivites (challenge friends online).
“By bringing the FIFA franchise to the PC platform as a free-to-play game, we give millions of new fans their chance to experience the authentic FIFA experience, with award-winning gameplay and licensed leagues,” said EA Sports FIFA World Producer Alex Grimbley.
