NGames: “Pockie Ninja” – ‘Chapter III: Hokage Village’ – Info & Trailer

From/De: NGames

Pockie Ninja’s “Chapter III: Hokage Village” update coming soon

Browser-based brawler’s second update due late-June.

Publisher NGames have revealed a massive update to their Naruto/Bleach-inspired MMO, Pockie Ninja – “Chapter III: Hokage Village”. With Chapter III, players will be able to build and upgrade their own villages, visit and interact with friends villages, release their own quests, and earn new titles to unlock further vital abilities.

NGames have released details of a huge update for their popular browser-based brawler, Pockie Ninja – “Chapter III: Hokage Village”.
Due to be rolled out on June 23rd, the update evolves Pockie Ninja’s world to introduce a slew of brand new gameplay features, including a game-changing player village system.

Restoring Hokage Village

Pockie Ninja’s recent update, Chapter II: Revenge of Aizen, introduced an extended storyline based on evil demon warrior Aizen, who was hiding at the very top of the Las Noches challenge building. Hokage Village was devastated during the countless battles against Demon City. Now that the war has ended with the defeat of Aizen, ninjas have started rebuilding their home!

Every player of Pockie Ninja will be able to build and upgrade their own village, with each village making a vital difference to the whole ninja family. Players can upgrade and interact with their villages in a number of ways. Building farms will allow users to customize their home and discover fancy gifts for their characters. You can even control the weather system to manipulate your village’s productivity, as well as upgrade and expand your village to become the envy of your friends.

Be sure to prepare your village well for your friends, as they will be able to visit your new home and even help you improve your surroundings. Friends can drop by to lend a helping hand, improve the look and productivity of your village, or even play some tricks on you. Helping friends with their villages will reap a great number of rewards, making it a vital part of Pockie Ninja’s ever-expanding universe. You can even use the brand new Quest Board feature to post original bounty quests for your friends to complete. Upgrading your village level increases the number of daily quests you can post and accept.

Meanwhile, hatching eggs across the village will reap all kinds of in-game treasures. You will need to nurture the eggs before they hatch to ensure you get the best rewards, which can be aided by your Master/Apprentice – setting them the task of guarding your precious eggs will allow you more time to raise your village.

Your in-game achievements will be reflected on your village’s Achievement Tower – a landmark that visually improves and grows alongside your ninja’s progress. Other players will be able to see that you’re a master of the martial arts just by visiting your village!

“Sega Pass” hacked | “Sega Pass” hackeado

[English]

Servers are remote computers that offer stored information saved to the users who ask for it via Internet browsers on their own computers or other devices such as mobile phones. Similarly, services such as Hotmail or Gmail store our messages sent to others stored on their servers, like all banks that have a history of our transactions.

In recent weeks, a group of hackers with the name of LulzSec has been attacking the servers of different companies and organizations, but denies any wrongdoing about Sega’s servers with the statement on Twitter: “@Sega – contact us. We want to help you destroy the hackers that attacked you. We love the Dreamcast, these people are going down.” Sega Pass was discontinued earlier today due to an unauthorized entry. Among the information included were email addresses, dates of birth, and encrypted passwords.

Sega has reset the passwords and calls for new password accounts. Information from credit cards or other payment plans have not been obtained by the hackers.

Here’s a copy of the email Sega sent to its clients (see screenshot).

Nintendo: “The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D” – Robin & Zelda Williams – Commercial

[English]

It takes experience and devotion to become a true gamer. It should take passion for gaming for someone to name his daughter after a well-known videogame character, especially from a game that has impacted some many people through time because of its beauty and storyline, and influenced many others wherever we go. For many of us, The Legend of Zelda is a masterpiece. Robin Williams is one of the many gamers that loves The Legend of Zelda. The first two Zelda games on the Nintendo Entertainment System, The Legend of Zelda and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, influenced him. He named his daughter Zelda Rae.

While others his age may not be fans of gaming, at 59 years of age, I guess I could say Robin knows a lot about games. According to Wikipedia, “(Robin) Williams is an avid enthusiast of games (even naming his daughter after Princess Zelda from The Legend of Zelda video game series), enjoying pen-and-paper role-playing games and online video games…”

With just a few days before the release of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D for the Nintendo 3DS, both father and daughter appeared recently on a commercial about the game.

Release dates: Japan – June 16th, Europe – June 17th, North America – June 19th.

U.S. Army: “America’s Army 3″ – Update | Actualización

From/De: U.S. Army

U.S. Army Releases America’s Army 3.1

Huntsville, AL (June 14, 2011) - The U.S. Army has released a major update to the  America’s Army  3 PC Game. This new AA3 update includes two new multiplayer maps, Shantytown and Stronghold, and a number of new features including new gameplay for “Every Soldier a Sensor.” The AA3 game can be downloaded free from Steam (www.americasarmy.com/steam) and from Deploy Client partners listed on the website (www.americasarmy.com/downloads).

Every Soldier a Sensor Gameplay
“Every Soldier a Sensor” or ES2 teaches that with all the advanced technology used by the U.S. Army, every Soldier is the best possible sensor on the battlefield. By observation, Soldiers are able to detect suspicious or important changes in their surroundings, however small. When this information is reported back to leaders, it allows them to construct a clearer picture of the battlefield making it safer for fellow Soldiers and civilians alike.

The ES2 gameplay in  AA3 brings awareness of the importance of every Soldier being observant on every mission. During AA3  gameplay, players will be rewarded for observing and reporting back things that they may come across during the mission that are suspicious or out-of-place. The player must determine what the object is, and report it if necessary. Many objects are false alarms and provide no benefit. Others are possible Intel such as NME documents or equipment and will grant the player a round bonus. Some gear or inventory items provide an immediate benefit such as ammo, explosives or IFAKS. To learn more about ES2, players will experience ES2 training as part of the MOUT training exercise.

New Maps
Shantytown is a rainy, close-quarters battle map which includes mission types for VIP and Activated objectives (where players interact with items to fulfill the mission). In this map, refugees fleeing oppression from the Czervenian government have established a makeshift slum settlement in the RDO city of Mozeizli. The refugees have lately moved into better living quarters established by U.S. and coalition forces and the “Shantytown” has since been abandoned. But, NME operatives are believed to have infiltrated and set up links to enemy espionage networks in the deserted area. In Shantytown, players will need to take advantage of the in-game communication and work together as a team relying heavily on concealment and speed as they navigate this maze of plywood shacks, containers and corrugated sheet metal.

Stronghold is a large map that takes place on the cobblestone streets of the occupied RDO city of Ranaliv where numerous alleys, terraces, balconies, and lofty spires provide a multitude of challenges and opportunities for teams to work together to accomplish the mission. Most of the population of this old city has fled, leaving the town and historical sites open to fortification by enemy forces. An imposing 14th century stone fortress, clock tower and fortress turrets will be favorite overwatch positions so players must be prepared to defend against NME marksmen. Players will also make good use of cover inside structures in the commercial and residential districts, advancing as a team from building to building as they race to complete the mission objectives.
Additional Features

  • New Achievement Coins - New achievement coins are awarded to the player for ES2 gameplay achievements were added into the game. A few of these achievements include Clean Sweep (awarded when a team reports all the ES2 objects in a single round), What’s That (awarded when a Soldier reports his/her first ES2 object) and What’s Yours is Mine (awarded when a Soldier lets teammates take all of the items in an ES2 object they have reported). Players will also be able to earn Soldier Sensor coins in bronze, silver, gold and platinum, depending on the number of ES2 objects they report.
  • New Blue Force Tracker (BFT) Features - The BFT which provides forces with location information has been enhanced. Players may now change the zoom of the BFT or alter the transparency of the extended map using the mouse wheel. A spectator extended map has also been added.
  • Steam Leaderboards - Steam leaderboard and stats updates will now be available when running the game through Steam
  • Admin Control Panel - An Admin Control Panel has been added to allow server providers to manage servers in-game. If the user has the appropriate server access, it will appear in the main menu.
  • Performance - Updates also include a number of gameplay weapons and map performance improvements.

ScrewAttack.com: Death Battle – Mario vs Sonic

[English]

The day has finally come. Two of the most powerful characters in the gaming universe will fight once more in a one-on-one battle. This particular fight itself might be somewhat like Super Mario Bros Z (in which both characters team up; btw when is episode 9 coming out?) but accompanied by the commentators’ intro-before-the-fight similar in style to Ninja Warrior on G4 with some comedy added, yet it will show who’s the smartest fighter around. As in one of my all-time favorite TV series, Highlander, there can be only one. Guess before you watch this new episode of Death Battle. ScrewAttack.com has more interesting fights such as Vegeta vs Shadow and Kratos vs Spawn that I recommend you should watch.

The Death Battle between Mario and Sonic begins now.

Patrick Stewart will lend his voice for “The War of the Worlds” game | Patrick Stewart prestará su voz para el juego “La guerra de los mundos”

[English]

We’ve seen him on Star Trek: The Next Generation (the TV series and movies) as Jean-Luc Picard from 1987 to 1998, and on the earlier X-Men movies as Professor Xavier since 2000. Now, Other Interactive will be bringing the voice-over talents of Patrick Stewart on the game based on the classic novel written by H.G. Wells, The War of the Worlds. The sci-fi novel describes the narrator’s experiences as he travels through London during a Martian invasion in the 1950s.

This is not the first time Stewart lends his voice to a videogame. Last year, he was the narrator on Konami’s Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. The game The War of the Worlds will be available for Xbox Live and PlayStation Network sometime later this year.

Sir Patrick Stewart Lending his Voice to Upcoming The War of the Worlds Video Game

Beloved star of the stage and screen will narrate unforgettable side-scrolling experience, coming to Xbox LIVE® and PlayStation®Network

Emeryville, CA – June 13, 2011 – Other Ocean Interactive is proud to reveal that Sir Patrick Stewart, the acclaimed TV and film star, will be lending his voice talents to The War of the Worlds, its upcoming cinematic side-scrolling platformer, coming to Xbox LIVE®Arcade and PlayStation®Network. Based on the classic novel by H.G. Wells, The War of the Worlds showcases Stewart’s distinct voice as the narration for the game, which follows one man’s experience in 1950s London during a decimating alien invasion.

Known to millions for his role as Captain Jean-Luc Picard in the popular TV show Star Trek: The Next Generation, as well as his performance as Professor Charles Xavier in the X-Men film franchise, Stewart has enjoyed tremendous success over his decades-long film career including several Emmy and Golden Globe nominations.  However, providing narration for The War of the Worlds is an experience that hearkens back to Stewart’s childhood.

“As a young boy, I remember watching the The War of the Worlds so many times I was quoting the lines,” said Stewart. “The alien invasion both terrified and fascinated me and the movie has stuck with me since then. Now, being part of this project will provide a new way for gamers around the world to experience a fresh new take on a classic.”

The War of the Worlds is a dark and breathtaking new vision inspired by the classic H.G. Wells novel, retold as a single player, 2D action-adventure. The gameplay narrative parallels the timeline and events from the 1953 movie adaptation, but introduces a new story arc, characters, locations, and sub-plots.  With gameplay paying homage to classic cinematic platformers such as Flashback and Out of This World, players follow the exploits of an unknown everyman struggling to escape the Martian invasion of London and rescue his family. Forced to think through insurmountable odds, players will outsmart an army of alien tripods, spiders and drones as they make their way through a landscape of total devastation.

The War of the Worlds will release for Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network later in 2011. For more information, please visit Other Ocean’s website at www.otherocean.com.
