EA Gives Gamers an Early Gift This Holiday Season With Dead Space 2 Demo
Experience the First Big Blockbuster of 2011 Five Weeks Before Release
REDWOOD CITY, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Dive into engineer Isaac Clarke’s blood-curdling adventure five weeks before release as Visceral Games™, a studio of Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ:ERTS) today announced a demo for the critically-acclaimed action horror game, Dead Space™2. The demo, available worldwide beginning December 21st, will allow players to discover the Church of Unitology and help Isaac defeat the Necromorph outbreak in a gruesome, unforgiving battle on The Sprawl. Winner of GameSpot’s highly-coveted ‘Best Xbox 360 Game’ of E3 award, Dead Space 2 will deliver the first big blockbuster title of 2011 when the title ships this January.

In the Dead Space 2 demo, players will take engineer Isaac Clarke on a terrifying adventure through the Church of Unitology, an expectedly “safe” place that quickly becomes dangerous and deadly, during the Necromorph outbreak on the Sprawl. Players will also have access to a variety of new tools that Isaac can use to fight Necromorphs, including the new Javelin gun, updated stasis recharge mechanic and enhanced telekinesis ability. Players will also experience the advanced suit, equipped with jets that will allow Isaac full 3600 control in Zero-G space.

SNK Playmore Launches NEOGEO Station on PlayStation® Network
Special Project Celebrating 20th Anniversary of the NEOGEO Launches on December 21, 2010
Los Angeles, Calif.-December 7th, 2010-SNK PLAYMORE USA CORPORATION announced today that they will be launching the NEOGEO Station on the PlayStation® Network to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the NEOGEO videogame system on December 21st, 2010. The NEOGEO Station will be a continuously growing’ library of classic NEOGEO games available via the PlayStation Network for $8.99 per title for PS3 and $6.99 per title for PSP.
Since its release in 1990, the revolutionary “NEOGEO” videogame system has attracted millions of fans worldwide with its unforgettable library of arcade classics. In commemorating the 20th anniversary of the legendary NEOGEO MVS & AES, SNK has updated NEOGEO games for PlayStation®3 and PlayStation®Portable systems with VERSUS and/or CO-OP Play so players all over the world can compete against each other via the PlayStation®Network (PSP® Versions will be compatible with Ad-Hoc Mode**). SNK is also adding a variety of features both hardcore fans and a new generation of NEOGEO gamers will be sure to appreciate.
The first 10 game titles on “NEOGEO Station” will be available on December 21, 2010 for the PS3 and will include “FATAL FURY”, “METAL SLUG”, and “THE KING OF FIGHTERS ’94″. “FATAL FURY” and ”METAL SLUG” will also be available for the PSP on December 21. Continuing in 2011, SNK PLAYMORE USA will offer the PSP versions of the other eight game titles as well as a wide variety of other games that made the “NEOGEO” world-famous in the 90s.

Funcom and Stunlock Studios have released a new video for the upcoming player vs. player online arena game ‘Bloodline Champions’, offering a unique glimpse into the tactics and strategies involved in playing the Stalker bloodline. ‘Bloodline Champions’ sees players charging into battle using any of the game’s 16 different bloodlines, each with their own unique powers. Through quick, but intense battles players must defeat the other team by skillfully using their bloodline’s abilities while at the same time trying to predict their opponent’s moves.
More than 150,000 players have joined the ‘Bloodline Champions’ closed beta during the past few weeks, but now we are inviting even more players to join the fun. Visit this page to secure your own beta key!
Developer Stunlock Studios and publisher Funcom are currently working diligently towards the release of the online arena-based PvP game ‘Bloodline Champions’.
