Guildford, UK.,18th September 2009, This Sunday EA SPORTS will kick-off its FIFA 10 marketing campaign with a one-off TV screening of the full two minute advert entitled ‘How Big Can Football Get’. An all-star football cast will showcase their FIFA skills during the second half-time break of the Manchester derby, live on Sky Sports 1 this Sunday. On the final whistle the advert can be viewed at www.easports.co.uk/fifa.
The advert starts pre-match with Wayne Rooney, Karim Benzema, Xavi, a host of other pro football players including Theo Walcott, Tim Cahill, Bastian Schweinsteiger, FIFA gamers, and football fans preparing to kick-off in locations all over the world. The intensity of their matches grows and the pace quickens, leading ultimately to huge celebrations, huge disappointments, and all of the emotions typical of Richter Scale-sized football matches. With gamers, pros, and fans all taking part, the campaign shows how FIFA 10 connects people throughout all levels of football and gaming culture.
The TV campaign from Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam asks the question ‘How Big Can Football Get?’ inspired by staggering game-play statistics which illustrate the vast number of people already participating in football through the EA SPORTS’ FIFA franchise. The campaign encourages more people to join the football movement through the invitational proposition “LET’S FIFA” that has been carried over from the successful FIFA 09 campaign.
FIFA 10 will be available in stores across Europe from October 2nd 2009 and in stores throughout North America on October 20. It is developed under the EA SPORTS brand by EA Canada in Burnaby, B.C., FIFA 10 is localized into 18 languages and sold in 37 countries–-it is the most popular EA SPORTS franchise globally.

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Sep 17, 2009 (BUSINESS WIRE) — Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ:ERTS) and Double Fine Productions Inc. announced today that gamers will get a chance to experience Brütal Legend four weeks before the game’s Rocktober 13th release in North America. With the demo, players can enjoy industry visionary Tim Schafer’s ultimate heavy metal action adventure game. Starting today, gamers who have pre-ordered Brütal Legend from GameStop can download the demo on Xbox LIVE(R) and the PlayStation(R) Network. For anyone that has not pre-ordered the game, the demo will be available on both platforms in the coming weeks.
The Brütal Legend demo includes the game’s entire opening chapter, setting the stage for legendary roadie Eddie Riggs epic journey into a Heavy Metal-inspired universe on the brink of decimation. After a stage accident renders Eddie unconscious, he awakens to find himself in a fantasy world where mountains are made of amplifiers, killer spiders spin guitar strings and heavy metal legends including Rob Halford, Lemmy Kilmister, Lita Ford and Ozzy Osbourne roam the world’s picturesque landscapes. A series of tutorials will quickly show players that Eddie is uniquely qualified to lead the revolution to save humanity – his muscles big enough to swing “The Separator” axe, slashing his way through demons and druids, his strumming skills vast enough to handle “Clementine”, an electrifying guitar that can shock and set fire to any threat. These weapons, along with a variety of deadly combos, powerful double-team attacks with allies and Eddie’s self-made hot-rod, the Deuce, will all be needed in order to defeat the vicious boss at the end of the demo.
