If wasn’t the price cut most people were waiting for. Most people would have wanted the price of a new PS3 to be any amount between $300 and $400, depending on the model of your choice. Even a $50 discount would have helped. Though newer PS3 systems do not have the PS2 backward compatibility feature, there’s nothing better than an actual console. I guess we’ll have to wait for Sony to restore backward compatibility with the PS4. Now, the question is: will Sony make a price cut this year? Game developers may start devoting more time working on Wii & 360 games if Sony doesn’t get to reduce the price of its third-generation console. The price is the only barrier preventing Sony from becoming No. 1 or No. 2. |
