Windows Live Hotmail: Infinite storage? | ¿Almacenamiento infinito?

This morning, most users may have seen their storage space amount disappeared when they’ve logged on into their Hotmail accounts. It’s nothing bad, au contraire, it’s a very, very good thing. Before today, Yahoo was the first and only major email provider that offered an unlimited account of email space, but Microsoft has decided to change all that. There is just one minimum requirement though which to send and receive a normal amount of emails (no specifics). Besides that rule, it’s all great for Hotmail users starting today.

Now that Yahoo and Microsoft have removed the limit space on our accounts, how long will it take Google to do the same? After all, Google was the first email service who made the jump from megabytes into gigabytes in our emails.

CODEMASTERS® TO BRING JASON BACK FROM THE DEAD

Videogame publisher sponsors campaign to encourage new parents to name their children Jason

Monday 16th February/…Leading videogame publisher Codemasters is embarking on a quest to re-populate the nation with Jasons.

The firm, whose videogame Rise of the Argonauts™ launched on February 6th 2009, is looking to knock Jack, Thomas, Oliver and Joshua from the top of the UK’s favourite boys’ names by encouraging parents to name their sons after the game’s hero.

The name ‘Jason’ is from Greek origin, meaning “healer”. It has been considered an English name since the 17th Century, yet – whilst it consistently ranks as one of the US’s most popular names – its popularity has faded in the UK over recent years, dropping down out of the top 50.

OTRONICON 2009 – Moments to remember – Part 2

OTRONICON v.4.0 (2009) – Moments to remember
Part 2: SSBB, PC Gaming Dungeon, Guitars, Retro Games & Computers

The Super Smash Festival became the place to be to exhibit your gaming skills at SSBB. I still see lots of people who prefer to use their GC controllers to play with. Because my favorite character is Solid Snake, I simply use the WiiMote with the Nunchuk. Too bad I did not get to sign up on time to play. The wedding and the first single-player competition took place at the same time. Ok, back to SSBB. There was a player unlike any other at the event.  His name is John Vastola and his skills were unmatched. He’s perhaps the best SSBB player I’ve seen. He won once, and got second place either one of two other tourneys. Other game competitions included Pac Man, Donkey Kong, Super Smash Bros. Melee, World of Warcraft, Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe and Wii Fit.

FF Distant Worlds: Update | Actualización

…love is in the air!!

Dear FINAL FANTASY Fans,

February is here and love is in the air. We have started a new fan page on Facebook and we’re already feeling the love from all of our fans. Stop by our Facebook page, post a comment on the wall, check out some concert photos and videos, or upload your own. We also have our own page on YouTube and this month’s contest involves videos and singing. We’d like your help creating a greeting to Uematsu-san from all of you.

We asked Nobuo-san what he loves about composing, he said, “Same as starting a new project with someone, writing, or making pasta from flour. I think I like to create something out of thin air.”

His favorite love song? Simon & Garfunkel’s “Bridge over Troubled Water”

Did you know that on Valentine’s Day in Japan, it is customary to give a gift to the men, instead of women? In honor of this tradition, we invite you to post yourself singing ‘Bridge over Troubled Water’ as a video response to our page on YouTube. We will send them to Uematsu-san, and contact one winner via YouTube to receive a free concert booklet.
